Maiko and Geiko of each hanamachi (Maiko district) perform seasonal dances every autumn. I attented Mizuekai, the dances of the hanamachi of Miyagawacho. You're not supposed to take pictures but I couldn't help it and did a few stealth shots.

Wow, very nice! Judging from these pictures we must have been sitting right by each other as I also got shots of this same dance. Your second photo has geiko Toshihana in it. She is my favorite!
